It is with a heavy heart that we announce our guitarist and singer Liam Glaim has decided to part ways with Trace The Sky to pursue different creative goals. We cannot thank every friend, fan, and family member enough for all the support you’ve shown us, and we wish Liam the best in all of his future endeavors. Remember kids, just because we don’t jam under the same roof anymore, doesn’t mean we love you all any less. Stay tuned for news and announcements.

It is with a heavy heart I announce that Trace The Sky and myself have parted ways.

The band has decided to go into a direction that I am not 100% behind, and it’s for this reason I have decided to leave the project I put my entire heart and soul into for two years, with the goal of reaching both pop-rock and metal/hardcore fans. This is an extremely difficult decision, but the right one for myself. I wish the group continued success, and would like to thank every single person who has supported us and our EP, “Messages”. It is something I am (and will always be) very proud of.

A special thank you goes out to the Gladman family (Diane, Dennis, Kari) for always being so amazing and supportive, to the Anderson family for allowing us to jam at their home and for being so kind (and for rescuing us on tour when our van died), and to the Harder family for being so kind and understanding (and for letting us use their vehicle for the Mazzfest tour). I also want to thank Bradley Kohl for helping me out with tour booking, Katie Hodgson for making us amazing designs, Lindsey Blane and Lindsay-Mae Collins for their amazing photography skills, and Jesse DeFehr for helping us out selling merch on tour.

Music, to me, is about making connections: Not just industry, management, or promoter connections, but making connections with people and fans when they listen to your recordings, watch your videos, and (most importantly) see you perform live. The best feeling in the world is going into a show where nobody knows who you are, and leaving with a new group of friends and followers. I truly love you all, and hope you will continue to follow and support my future musical endeavours.
